Heart Wreath #craftywednesday

Good morning everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Wednesday so far. I've been up for hours and already had a few cups of coffee because I honestly don't function well without it. Anyone else the same way?

Today's Crafty Wednesday is a Heart Wreath I made for Valentine's day! Y'all this was easy (yet a little time consuming) and fun to make! I did this over a few weeks just because my brain likes to jump from project to project. I love experimenting with making wreaths. Do any of y'all make wreaths? Drop yours in the comments!

All you need to make one is:

  • Felt- In as many colors as you want. I used four different colors

  • Flower Pattern- I googled the big one and then traced it out and I used a medium bowl and a small bowl for the other two sizes

  • Scissors

  • Glue Gun & Glue Sticks

  • Wreath Form- I found a heart shaped one

I cut three of each pattern out of each fabric I had.

The ones with the petals were a little time consuming to cut but I absolutely love the way they turned out. Next I started cutting the smaller two into spirals leaving a small circle at the end to glue to the bottom. It doesn't have to be perfect either. I feel like those small imperfections is what makes things unique.

After cutting all of patterns it was time to start hot gluing! Just start rolling them and adding some hot glue along the way until you get to the small circle. Then put some hot glue on the bottom and stick it to the bottom of the spiral. I swear I am the messiest crafter because my work space will look like a tornado went through while I am making something but I like to say it's just organized chaos!

Once I got all of them cut I just started gluing them on. I didn't really plan out how I would put them on I just went with what would look good. You can put them on however you want. It's all about being creative!

And it's done! I think this is just so cute! It is cute enough you can leave it out year round because love isn't just about one day a year. It should be celebrated everyday! This one is for sale for $50 if you would like a finished completed one or follow along with this tutorial and make your own! If you do please share a picture in the comments!

If you have any suggestions for next month's Crafty Wednesday please send us a message or if you would like us to feature a craft you have done!

Thanks for reading y'all! Go and out and be creative friends and have a great rest of your week!
